Hello! I’m Jonas Neubert, a PhD fellow at the Centre for Medical Science and Technology Studies (MeST) and the Section for Health Services Research, University of Copenhagen. As part of the DataSpace project, I investigate cross-border movements—of patients, medications, and (electronic) prescriptions—within the European Union.
I am currently interviewing trans and non-binary people about their experiences with cross-border gender-affirming care (i.e., acquiring hormones or medical care from another country). If you are curious about my work or wish to (anonymously) share your healthcare experiences, my inbox is always open and I would love to hear from you.
My previous research at Maastricht University, Netherlands, highlighted how romantic couples navigate shared experiences of—psychedelic-induced—altered states of consciousness. You can find the article in the Journal of Psychedelic Studies (open access) here.
